Dr Paul Lewis has 10 years experience as a psychologist and supervisor in NHS and privately. Paul offers clear advice and evidence-based techniques (including CBT and ACT) when appropriate, or a more counselling-informed way of working when needed. He is also qualified in EMDR therapy. Paul has experience working with a range of anxiety and mood problems (including depression, trauma, social and general anxiety, OCD, health anxiety, phobias, panic and insomnia).
Paul’s previous career in current affairs and PR gave him experience of "real" working life outside of psychology including workplace stress, difficult personalities and office politics, disruptive travel and sometimes poor managers (as well as experience of inspiring and fascinating people and places).
Paul works online or face to face seeing adults and older teenagers.
